How to use Argan Oil
Here are a few of the ways that you can incorporate this anti-aging, moisturising and all-natural oil into your daily beauty regimen:
As a night-time moisturizer by placing a few drops in the palm of your hand a gently patting onto your face and hair before bed. It will gently moisturize your skin and hair overnight.
Argan Oil can be added to your skin toner as a natural alternative. You can also boil water to make a green tea, allow it to steep for 10 minutes before adding essential oil drops and 2-4 drops of Argan Oil. Use morning and night after cleansing, and before moisturizing.
Add to 2-4 drops of Argan Oil to my BusyBeeBlossom Bath Salts. This will add anti-aging benefits to my already beautiful salt scrub. Remember that regular body exfoliation will keep your skin smooth and supple for summer.
Argan oil is mild and effective for treatment of acne in that it aids in correcting sebum levels. Try one drop in your palm and pat onto the cleansed, affected area and after 24 hours continue if your skin feels good. Slow and steady for anything new is the best course of action. And chemical free wherever possible. Or add 1-2 drops to your Hydrating Day Cream and you may choose to add 1 drop of Tea-tree oil for added antiseptic effect.
Argan Oil can help minimize the elasticity of your skin and so will help in minimising stretch marks or scar tissue. Its high levels of Vitamin E & A will help to rejuvenate the skin. Apply 2-3 drops in your palm and massage onto the affected area.
Place 2-4 drops in your palm and pat onto irritated skin from shaving. Argan Oil may also soothe skin affected by ingrown hair.Argan Oil can affectively be used as an all round moisturiser. It can be used on your body as well as face and hair. Just add a few drops to Sandalwood and Lavender Body Lotion and apply on your body.
Argan Oil can be be applied as a leave-in conditioner. It is quickly absorbed into the hair and helps in promoting the hairs condition. Apply 2-4 drops in your palm and finger through your hair especially the ends and scalp.
Argan Oil can be used as an overnight hair conditioning treatment by applying 5-10 drops into your hair and leaving in overnight. This treatment may help as a dandruff or dry scalp treatment too. Perhaps try with a head buff to allow the oil to penetrate.
Argan Oil may also be used on chapped lips in winter. Apply 1-2 and pat on and around lip area.
As a nail treatment by massaging 2-4 drops in the cleansed nail bed including cuticle. Careful as it may be slippery walking afterwards!
Argan Oil may be used to help treat dry skin on your feet by massaging 2-4 drops after a bath or shower. Wear socks to let the oil penetrate and work.
